Nantucket Boys & Girls Club

Stanmar did a wonderful job providing us a guaranteed fixed price package that we could take to donors. They also did a great job reaching out to all the local subcontractors, coordinating with off island trades, and organizing housing and boat schedules. The finished building looks fantastic and I would work again with Stanmar in a heartbeat!

Mr. John Loose, Board Member, Nantucket Boys & Girls Club

Overview

The Nantucket Boys & Girls Club had grown from serving 80 kids a day in the 1980’s to over 300 to over 300 a day today. The Club selected Stanmar to design and construct a new addition and renovation that would be safe, significantly larger to meet the current and future demand, and multipurpose to bring in alternative sources of revenue. Despite the Club’s challenging location (on an island within a historic district) and one of the worst winters in recent memory, the beautiful new Nantucket Boys & Girls Club opened in July, 2015, on time and on budget.
